From the heartlands of Indiana to the quaint streets of Independence, I've been told I'm a "Connector". Connector of people, resources and discovering one's creativity. As a fourth-generation sewist, creativity has been a key element of my life. After becoming a mother of two, I needed a healthy outlet to release the day’s stress and monotony. During every season of my life I have turned to creativity. Friendships, birthdays, my wedding and anticipating the birth of my children. I made things with yarn and paper before motherhood. As a lifelong learner and restless creative soul, learning to sew was my next adventure. Sewing brought me joy and a healthy focus during my year of postpartum depression. I started with scrunchies and headbands, grew into upcycled quilt coats, played with repurposed jean jackets and I'm always curious for more, My mission was to bring personal and custom pieces to life.
